How to prepare SSC CGL and Bank PO Exam Simultaneously?

SSC CGL and BANK PO are one of the most hunted exams and are immeasurably renowned amongst the aspirants across the country. These exams offer prestigious career opportunities to those who are aspiring for public sector undertaking jobs.

There is competition is higher for these exams as crores of aspirants appear every year for these exams. The eligibility criteria of these exams are graduation from any stream but from a reputed university.

Most of the aspirants are generally found confused while preparing for both these exams simultaneously. Well, it depends upon the aspirants and their priority for the sector which they prefer the most.

There are very few candidates who set their goal towards one dream job while others find it difficult to select any one of these exams and start trying their luck in both the exams simultaneously. According to the analysis and research work are done on the successful candidates, there are some basic things and facts which should be focused while preparing for them.

First of all, it is important to know the difference between the syllabuses of both the exams.

The topics like seating arrangements, Syllogism, Puzzles, Sequential Output Tracing, etc. will test your intelligence and one need to be quick witted to deal with such questions.  Besides these topics, there are a lot of other topics in the syllabus to be covered and practiced. The time required to prepare for SSC CGL exam is less and only little effort is required to master the topics as the level is low whereas for BANK PO Reasoning section one needs a lot of practice as the difficulty level is high.

General Awareness should be studied for BANK PO Exams. This section has questions with a special focus on banking industry and economics.

For effective preparation of this section, one needs to focus on the current affairs of last 6 months and banking knowledge. One can score well in this section of BANK PO Exam if one gets into the habit of reading of newspaper daily. Keep a track on the current affairs, appointments, sports and of course the recent changes or happenings in the Banking industry. Learn the basic information rather than the entire description of the same.  Besides, learn the key terms related to banking such as definitions and their features.

These subjects are different and are not similar to one another if these are prepared well then one can fetch good marks.  The facts related to the topics of these subjects can be easily grasped but it needs your keen interest to understand the same. After going through all the topics test your understanding by solving a lot of past year questions as there is a probability of repeating the questions.
